What’s life like in your world? What does your office look like? What does your vacation look like? Inviting people behind the scenes into your life is not only intriguing but helps to build connection and make you more relatable!

Support your online community with a tip of the day or week that you may already take for granted but could help a lot of people do something better, faster, easier or with more impact. The more results-oriented your tip is, the better!
#7 OFFICE HOURS
Live Q&As are incredibly helpful for those that need your support NOW and also teach people a bit more about how you can serve them. Post these hours, shoot out an email, let your audience know when you can be reached!
#8 SPECIAL ANNOUNCEMENTS
These are fun to do live and a great way to bring people up to date with what you are doing in your life and/or your business. You could be announcing price increases, a special event, a special promotion or offer.
#9 SUCCESS STORY
Where’s the social proof? Sharing with people how you have helped people or can help people in your business comes across in a whole new live via live video. Usually I like to do these in the spirit of celebration and gratitude.
#10 EVENT GREETINGS
Pop into an event page and introduce yourself before, during and after an event! These is a great way to tell people about your booth, your speaking gig or just that you’ll be there to connect with and make the most of your in-person events.
WHY I AM WRITING THIS
Facebook Live was released to Canadians in the spring of 2016. After using it over a period of 4 weeks, I transformed my business – attracting almost 20 clients! After 20 years of working in the marketing and publishing world, four of those as the full-time President of Rise Media + Design, I haven’t been this blown away by a marketing tool like this – ever!
