I definitely find that I will crash if I don’t rejuvenate in small chunks – but lately I’ve found that even my small chunks of time are stolen away with more “work.”
It’s like I’m addicted! So I’m going to put it out there on social media and in some of my social circles and just ask – how do you rejuvenate as a small business owner?
There are a few things I’m going to try this week and I’ll definitely let you know if they work out!
REJUVENATE #1:
A 10-minute guilt free shower where I use my best soap and alternate between hot and cold water. It’s a great pick-me-up and refreshes me instantly!
REJUVENATE #2:
Lining up 3 glasses of cold water with ice and sipping them through one hour of work. This sounds weird, but the purity of water seems to help me somehow!
REJUVENATE #3:
Spend 10 minutes cleaning a corner of my office and don’t think about work for 10 minutes! Ahhh! A break!
REJUVENATE #4:
Put a ton of lotion on my feet and then put a thick pair of socks in. Enjoy the moisture sinking in.
REJUVENATE #5:
Force myself to go to bed early! I love this – instead of working until I’m exhausted – I make sure that I have 30 minutes of non-work time before I go to bed, then… a full night’s sleep. Gotta love a full night’s sleep (which can often be interrupted by crying baby…)
REJUVENATE #6:
A bath at 8 pm each night. Family is fed, baby is sleeping, work is done. RELAX.
Okay – so what do you do? I get my rejuvenation in small chunks of 5 minutes here or there… and sometimes longer… any tips, suggestions, comments?
