Self-sabotage is a form of fear. Time to let go and let flow!

I usually don’t like to do fear tactics, but I want to talk about self-sabotage for a second.

It often happens when entrepreneurs UP-LEVEL and I am guilty of it in the past – often unknowningly. It can get in the way of launching new things and reaching more people so that you can make a bigger impact. Recently I’ve started to notice the signs! Once you know how it shows up, it’s easier to address and eliminate rather than continue.

Self-Sabotage can only be successful if it stays in the dark.

Once you shine the spotlight on self-sabotage you unwittingly disarm it and dislodge it…giving the sabateur a chance to detach and rise above it all.

We are the only ones that hold ourselves back.

We are the only ones getting in the way of our social media working or our launches being successful.

Choose success. Choose Joy. Choose Peace.

Do the work. Ask for help. Be open.

I choose to be worthy of success and I am the owner of my dreams. I have decided I will find success and help more women find their voice – and the universe does have my back.

I have chosen success.

I can see what stops people from showing up because I have been stopped before. By fear. By overwhelm. By guilt. By self-doubt.

I often ask entrepreneurs “ARE YOU READY TO RECEIVE” because if their marketing starts to work, can they handle the success?!?!?!?

  • Will their links work?
  • Are their calendars syncing?
  • Do they have the space to do the work?
  • Do they know what sold out is?

As I navigate my way back to the limelight I realize that I am open to receive in some ways and not in others – it’s so enlightening!

The more clear I get on what I can handle, what I want to do and what I want to create – the easier it becomes.

But it wasn’t always that easy!

Here are 6 WAYS we can sabotage our marketing – without even starting our marketing…I am guilty of these and I’ll share how in a second…
#1. TIMING

I launched an offer during March break a few years back when all my ideal clients were on vacation!

#2. VISIBILITY

I thought I was everywhere but it just felt that way. I looked at the metrics and realized I could have been more visible and where was I in the places where my thought leadership showed up but not my face!?!?!?!

#3. INDECISION

Indecision has paralyzed me for months in multiple situations. The second I DECIDE I AM DOING SOMETHING or NOT DOING SOMETHING, momentum happens. Don’t sit on the fence. Decide to do it or not do it. Don’t drag it out.

#4. SPECIFICS

Are you super clear about what it is you’re offering?

Is it easy to find?

Is the pricing upfront?

Can someone tell if it’s what they need or do they have to call for more information?

Do you provide a FAQ section?

What about product pictures?

A video?

How specific can you get or not get?

If it’s not specific enough, people will not buy – because remember – INFORMATION/KNOWLEDGE is one of the biggest obstacles for the online buyer.

#5. THE ASK

This is brilliant. Sometimes we just don’t ask for the business.

When you are truly honest with yourself – how many people did you ask?

Are you keeping track?

Did you get clear YES or NOs?

Or were people interested but they lost track of you or you weren’t top of mind when they needed you?

#6. THE SYSTEM

The system can break you or make you!
